2500°F just took it’s toll.

What happened? Whatever it was, there weren’t many lumpy bits, just what looked like molten steel.

I don’t know what happened, but amazingly it did finish that qualifying race and it’s racing today in the main race!

My guess is that is what it looks like when a turbo turbine lets go at racing temps.

Incar view from that BMW would be cool to see.
